NTA ANTI-Social Campaign - LUAS
FORMAT: TVC and Online Campaign
CLIENT: National Transport Authority
AGENCY: Connelly Partners
PRODUCTION: Conker Cuts
We delivered a commercial to our client for use in a National Campaign in the Republic of Ireland for the National Transport Authority. The brief was focusing on Anti-Social behaviour on LUAS transport, more specifically blocking the entrance for when people are getting on-board. We developed a Pre-Vis for the blocking and the VFX usage in the commercial, then workshopped it with the agency, and client, until they were happy. We secured the Wayfinding Centre in Dublin, for use for the shoot as it had a larage scale model of the LUAS for use for the commerical, the advantage being that since this was all interior it gave us much more flexibility with production and budget.
The client and agency partners were present on set during the entire process and were consulted for notes after every take. Our VFX lead, Jack Quinn, was available on set to direct both camera and VFX coverage with Adam Rael. For delivery, we rendered final products in four different social media outputs (1:1, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16) for optimised coverage for 2 years usage which we negotiated with the cast.
VFX VISUALISERS
As VFX was a main component for this project, we wanted to bring the client through the preliminary VFX journey so we could discuss and collaborate with them on changes and edits. It also allowed our VFX team to have a visual of the project to work on with the Pre-Vis before the shooting had wrapped.
During the Post-Production, we were able to create a specific LUAS stop background with 3D mapping and Blender tools, basing it off stops on the LUAS Green Line. The client were delighted with these real life inspirations used for the final delivery.
