PRODUCTION: Conker Cuts (Cassette Vision LTD)
Length: 6 Minutes 20 Seconds
The remains of 1,000 massive stone burial sites, mainly from the Neolithic period, are scattered across Ireland. Most of these marvelous structures are over 5,000 years old. They were built out of gigantic stones weighing up to 150 metric tons. How the Irish ancestors transported and manufactured the megaliths is still a mystery that connects them to their past.
The Approach:
Working with BBC executive producer, Natalia Guerrero, we developed this documentary for BBC Reels. We sourced a variety of supporting exports on the topic and we able to get access to multiple tomb sites for capturing some stunning and piteresque visuals to acompany our export testimony.
